Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, formerly known as The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration, has released a crucial notice for all M.Ed. students. Dated July 1, 2025, this notice, with reference number BSAEU/COE/953/2025, outlines the procedures and schedules for the M.Ed. 3rd Semester Supplementary-II Examination for the 2021-23 batch. The entire process, including form fill-up, fee payment, and issuance of admit cards, will be conducted through the university’s online portal. The User ID and password for all concerned will remain unchanged.

Examination Form Fill-up: The window for filling up your examination forms is quite short, spanning only two days from July 2, 2025, to July 3, 2025.
Payment of Examination Fees: You have a slightly longer period for fee payment, from July 2, 2025, to July 4, 2025.
Issuance of Admit Card (online): Online admit cards will be available from July 5, 2025.
External Practicum Exams: These will take place from July 8, 2025, to July 11, 2025.
External Theory Exam: The written exams are scheduled from July 14, 2025, to July 17, 2025.
Submission of Marks: Colleges have specific dates for submitting different types of marks:
External Practicum: The ASR (Award List) and Award List (Mark foil) can be downloaded on July 7, 2025.
Internal Theory & Practicum: The online entry of internal marks will be open from July 7, 2025, to July 18, 2025.
External Theory: The ASR and Top Sheet for the External Theory Exam can be downloaded on July 11, 2025.
Last Date for External Award List Submission: All external marks must be submitted by July 25, 2025.
Examination Fees Breakdown:
The fees for the M.Ed. 3rd Semester Supplementary-II Examination vary depending on the number and type of papers you are taking. The notice clearly outlines the following fee structure, which is payable by the candidate:
For one supplementary paper: The fee is Rs. 400/-
For two supplementary papers: The fee is Rs. 600/-
For all theoretical supplementary papers: The fee is Rs. 850/-
For all theoretical and practicum papers: The total fee is Rs. 1300/- An important point to note is that out of this amount, Rs. 450/- will be retained by the college.
Mandatory Attendance & Eligibility Rules:
The university has strict rules regarding attendance that determine eligibility for the examination:
Candidates with attendance below 80% but not less than 50% in theory papers must pay an attendance condonation fee.
Similarly, for practicum papers, candidates with attendance below 90% but not less than 50% must also pay the attendance condonation fee.
A critical rule to remember is that any candidate with an attendance percentage below 50% in any theory or practicum paper is
not eligible to appear for the examination.
Fee Deposit Process for Colleges:
The notice also provides a detailed, step-by-step guide for colleges to deposit the total examination fees online. The process is conducted through the State Bank of India’s SB Collect portal.

Visit the official website: http://www.onlinesbi.com.
Select ‘SB Collect’ from the menu.
Read the Disclaimer Clause, check the box, and proceed.
From the drop-down menus, select ‘West Bengal’ for the state and ‘Educational Institutions’ for the type of institution, then click ‘GO’.
Select ‘BABA SAHEB AMBEDKAR EDUCATION UNIVERSITY’ and click ‘Submit’.
Choose the payment category
“M.ED SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM FEES” and click ‘GO’.
Provide all required information, including College Code, Name, Semester, number of candidates, and the total amount.
Confirm the details and proceed with the payment using various modes like Net Banking, Card Payment, or by downloading a challan for cash payment at any SBI branch. Bank charges will vary depending on the payment mode.
The university has also specified that colleges can retain an amount of Rs. 450/- per candidate from the examination fees to cover the expenses of the practical examination. This includes the remuneration and conveyance for the external examiner. The remaining amount of
Rs. 850/-
per candidate is to be paid to the university. The college must also make spot payments to the external examiner for their remuneration and travel allowance. Any excess funds from the practicum fees, after meeting expenses, must be distributed among the Internal Evaluators and non-teaching staff. An utilization certificate and copies of vouchers must be submitted to the Controller of Examinations after the exams are completed.
